Placing Your Order

First things first, you need to register for an account to place a festive order if you do not already have a login from last year. Even if you already have a Click and Collect account, you still need a new account for Christmas & Hogmanay.

Browse the website as usual and select everything you need to feed your family this Christmas and New Year. Although, please note that if you want to order for Christmas and Hogmanay and collect these on different dates, you will need to place two separate orders. Be sure to check your order is exactly as you want it and then head to the checkout.

Contactless online payment

To help keep things simple and allow us to operate as quickly and efficiently as possible, we require payment in advance. All items are sold as fixed price and weight, and weights are approximate but will be met as closely as possible.

Collecting Your Order

Orders for Christmas can be collected from 7am each day. This year the shops will be shut on Sunday 22nd December so collection for Christmas is only possible on the 23rd & 24th.

Ideally please collect your order by 1pm.

Having already paid for your order online, there will be a separate, super-efficient queue outside our shops for those only wishing to collect, leaving you free to grab and go!

After 1pm you will need to queue up in the shop as normal to collect your order. Please note the shops may close earlier than expected, especially on Christmas Eve so please endeavor to collect your order before 1pm if possible.

Our shops will be open as normal, so please do pop in for any other bits and pieces you may need.

Our Festive Opening Times page provides details of our opening hours for your chosen collection day. Don’t panic if you can’t find your order number – we just need your surname and address to find your order.

Once at the front of the queue for collections, give your name to one of the team and they will match up your paperwork with your bag of tasty, Christmas goodies. We run a really quick and efficient system and we aim to have you sorted and on your way as soon as we can!

Your order will be handed over to you in a knotted bag. These aren’t the easiest to carry and can be a bit damp from the chill, so please do remember a big reusable bag to take your shopping home with you.

Please also check your order as soon as possible. We are happy to help you do this as we are aware we are asking you to ‘grab and go’! Just ask a member of our team to help you check your order before you head home. We try really hard to get it right for you, but if mistakes do happen, we want to help put them right well before Santa starts checking his orders!

Orders for Hogmanay

Shops will also be shut on Sunday 29th Decemeber so orders for Hogmanay will need collected during normal shop opening times on the 30th or 31st.

Important info

NO DELIVERIES FOR 2024.
Unfortunately, we are no longer set up to manage deliveries for festive orders. We no longer have the vans or drivers needed to do so and therefore have made the tough decision to stop offering this service. We do still hope you will be able to order with us for collection.

Ordering for Collection

Be sure to get your order in promptly so you don’t miss out! Our last online order date for Christmas & Hogmanay is (10am on) the 16th of December, although we never like to say no and will always do our best to help!

It is very important to note that orders must be collected on the date you selected at the shop you have chosen. These details will be sent to you in your confirmation email for your reference. The orders are made up for the collection day and will not be ready if you stop by the day before!

After you have placed your order online, you will receive an email confirmation, however, please do email us at christmas@simonhowiefoods.co.uk if you do not receive this. If you misspell your email address it will not arrive, so check the details you have input carefully. If you still can’t see it, check your junk inbox in case it has slipped through the net!

Once again, please check the details of your email confirmation and contact us if there are any problems.

Orders for Hogmanay can still be placed up to the 28th of December by contacting the shops directly.

As always, if you need to change or cancel your order at any point, please do let us know as soon as possible.

If necessary, orders may be altered or cancelled and a refund issued if you contact us before 10am on the 16th of December, otherwise, no refund will be issued.
